There was a major meeting held last week by the internet and mobile association of India and Netcore solution, which focused on B2C marketing automation; the accelerator of growth for Edtech. The round table meeting had a specific purpose which was on the marketing trends in the EdTech sector with further discussion on other issues of the EdTech industry.
In the course of the meeting, the welcome address was given by Gaurav Gupta, Sr. VP-Enterprise Sales, Netcore Solutions, and he explained the changes that the education system are experiencing by the impact of Edtech companies are having as a result of the evolution of the Edutech space. He also established the fact that Edtech companies are closing a huge gap by creating the right environment for students/professionals to learn at their own pace, providing career guidance, information on scholarships, talent evaluation, job orientations, and placement opportunities. ROI is an emerging important factor, with gratitude to the digital ecosystem which regulates customer experience and fondness of the brand itself. The target for Edtech brands is an omnichannel marketing automation & analytics platform which is important and achieved through hyper-personalization of customer experiences.
There was a statement by the Chief Innovation Officer of Netcore Solutions, Veer Chand Bothra who said that EdTech companies at their young stage, require investment in the data layer during the early periods so that they can begin to obtain data of customer and then generate customer data platform from it around customer individual profile, and then produce segmentation and personas out of that and the capability to scrutinize and market the personas.
The CEO of Fliplearn Education, Vishnu Dutt, while discussing the challenges of EdTech sector, stated that online products including more human hands would sell more. He also added that there has been more diversion of the audience in the direction of online learning as a result of the penetration of 3G and 4G network.
The Co-founder and CEO of GradeUp, Shobhit Bhatnagar, stated that there is developing trust in online teaching by customers. He also added that the level of motivation of students learning online is much greater than offline.
The Head of IT at Sharda University stated that their school is making use of AI data and analytics. He also pointed out that AI is an important driver in the Edtech sector. Upneet Grover, Founder of GetMyUni stated his opinion on the collection of student data. He mentioned that obtaining data and working on it to make student reach the right organization is the most strenuous task.
Head of Marketing, NIIT, Kshitij Jain, stated the importance of discipline and capability to learn for technology implementation in education. He also mentioned that the adoption of different models by NIIT for student understanding and also learning.
Panelist discussed on EdTech sector technical advancement, in the course of the two hours discussion, while emphasizing customers changing behavior and it all began with the closing address from Veer Chand Bothra.
